If you or someone you know are being abused or sexually assaulted please do not wait to call local authorities. And for military members or spouses please contact your local CID office. This is a serious epidemic that needs to stop.
And for those who know someone affected, please volunteer at your local Rape Crisis Center as they are always understaffed.
For those suffering, please seek justice and do not give up, less than 15% of victims will make it all the way through the prosecution of their abuser. Very little tell and even fewer seek help. I am a surviving victim of incest and rape from a soldier and I’ve been entirely through the court system. Seeking help is the best opportunity to heal.
